Screenagers Is Coming April 30!
Published on February 22, 2019
Olson Middle School and the OMS PTSA are very excited to invite all of our parents to a screening of the documentary Screenagers. Screenagers is an award-winning documentary that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.
Screenagers will be shown on April 30 at 7:00 PM in the Olson Middle School auditorium. It is 93 minutes long and will be followed by guided discussion and light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. To reserve tickets, head here. Walk-ins will be welcome as well, space permitting. OMS students will be viewing a student cut of the film during school the prior week.
For more information about the movie, head to their official website or watch the trailer on YouTube.
